Spread the love

Reading Time: < 1 minute

This poignant poem, by Sudipta, expresses pain from lost love and struggles to move on, exclusively for Different Truths.

This is the last poem I wrote to you
Never shall I recall your memories
To burn the same scar again and again
I love you and that's the reason for the pain

In this lone region
A hammer stabs my reason,
Why did I fail in love?
Now, I lay in a broken hub

No way, I can’t amend my hurt
How could I miss his dark eyes?
What's my fault?
A river always craves to meet the sea!
And so, I!

Maybe it is my last letter,
For that traitor
For him, it doesn't matter,
But for me, I reread the lost chapters

You see, I don't love him now
Nobody knows how to stop a raging brook!
