Arindam Roy has over 40 years of experience in various newsrooms. He was the Managing Editor of a reputed Gurgaon-based Citizen Journalist portal and has held senior positions in several publications. As a correspondent and bureau chief, he has written extensively for the Associated Press, Times of India, Hindustan Times, and multiple news outlets. He has written 13 chapters for various publications, and the Times Group published three coffee-table books (CTBs) with seven of those chapters. He was responsible for the content development of a prestigious CTB for the Allahabad High Court. He is a co-author of a novel, Rivers Run Back. He is the Founder, Editorial Director and Editor-in-Chief of Different Truths.

Anumita Roy
Co-Founder, Creative Director & Managing Editor
Anumita Roy is an artist at heart and a legal and medical interpreter by profession. She creates word images in her verses and loves to write short stories. Mother of high-functioning autistic children, she advocates for special needs issues in any way possible. Born in India and brought up in several countries, she is a true global citizen. She now lives in Columbus, Ohio, with her family and follows her passion for writing and advocacy, being the Co-Founder, Creative Director and Managing Editor of Different Truths.

Prof Malashri Lal

Prof. Malashri Lal, with 26 books, retired as a professor in the English Department at the University of Delhi. Publications include Tagore and the Feminine and The Law of the Threshold. Co-edited with Namita Gokhale is the ‘goddess trilogy’ on Sita, Radha, and Lakshmi, as well as Betrayed by Hope, which received the Kalinga Fiction Award. Lal’s poetry collections are Mandalas of Time, shortlisted for the Tagore Literary Prize, and the recent book Signing in the Air. Honours include the prestigious ‘Maharani Gayatri Devi Award for Women’s Excellence’ and the SETU Award of Excellence. She is the Global Consultant Editor of Different Truths.

Dr Azam Gill
Editor-at-Large, Europe
Dr Azam Gill is a France-based novelist, analyst, and retired tenured Lecturer of Toulouse University, France. He has authored nine books, including four thrillers — Blood Money, Flight to Pakistan, Blasphemy, and JADINY — and contributed to six anthologies. He also writes for Different Truths, The Express Tribune and The International Association of Thriller Writers and blogs at https://writegill.com/. He served in the French Foreign Legion, the French Navy, and the Punjab Regiment. JADINY: Just Another Day in New York, his latest novel, is the first counterfactual/alternative history thriller about the 9/11 Twin Towers attacks. He is our Editor-at-Large, Europe.

Ratan Mani Lal

Ratan Mani Lal is a journalist with more than 40 years of experience in major English and Hindi newspapers such as The Times of India, the Hindustan Times, and The Bhaskar Group. He also headed the Jaipuria Institute of Mass Communication for several years. He writes for Firstpost, One India.com, Zeenews.com, and many other publications in English and Hindi. He is a commentator for several television channels as well. He writes about current affairs, focusing on political scenarios, development issues, and the environment. Prof Sonjoy Dutta Roy

Prof. Sonjoy Dutta Roy retired as Professor/Head, Department of English; Dean of Arts; and Coordinator of Centres for Theatre/Films and Media Studies at the University of Allahabad. Senior Fulbright Visiting Professor at UC Berkeley, Fellow at Louisiana State University, and UGC Visiting Fellow at Jadavpur University. His papers on theatre/poetry featured in leading journals. Over three decades, he directed Indian/American plays and lectured at UC Berkeley, UConn, Tufts, and more. Poetry collections: The Absent Words (1998), Into Grander Space (2005), Diary Poems (2012), forthcoming Of Blood and Book. Prof Smita Agarwal

Prof. Smita Agarwal is a prominent Indian poet writing in English and a culturally active person. She is the author of three collections of poems: Wish-granting Words (New Delhi: Ravi Dayal, 2002), Mofussil Notebook (Calcutta: Brown Critique/Sampark, 2016), and Speak, Woman! (New Delhi: Red River, 2021), which has been shortlisted for the Sahitya Akademi Prize, 2025. She is the editor of Marginalized: Indian Poetry in English (Amsterdam and New York: Rodopi, 2014). She is also a trained singer who has performed on radio, television, and various government-sponsored cultural festivals. Her songs are available on YouTube. Prof. Bhaskar Majumder

Prof. Bhaskar Majumder superannuated as an Economics professor from GB Pant Social Science Institute, Allahabad. He served as a visiting professor at Central University of Bihar (Patna), Sri Sri University (Cuttack), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Science College (Calcutta University), and others. He published extensively in 26 reputed journals, authored 11 books, co-edited two, and contributed 38 chapters. He completed 26 research projects funded by the Planning Commission, GoI ministries, ICSSR, the World Bank, NTPC, and Tata Chemicals. An international academic, journal reviewer, and PhD supervisor, he holds degrees from the University of Calcutta. He is our National Editor: Economics and Social Science.

Urna Bose is an advertising professional, writer, widely published poet, and editor. Her poems went viral worldwide. She won the ‘Enchanting Editor’ award from the Telangana Group of Poetry Forums (2019). Having worked with advertising giants like R. K. Swamy/BBDO, McCann Erickson, Mudra, Lowe Lintas, and others, her campaigns have won Indian and global creativity awards, and some are industry case studies. Dr Dhiraj Sharma

Dr Dhiraj Sharma, a faculty member in Management Studies at Punjabi University, Patiala, writes at the intersection of economy, finance, governance, culture, literature, and social change. His interdisciplinary work examines how individuals and institutions adapt to economic and societal shifts. Beyond academia, he pursues creative writing—fiction, non-fiction, and poetry—and excels as an avid birder, nature/wildlife photographer, and painter in realistic/semi-impressionist styles. Dr Baljeet Singh Virk is an accomplished academic holding an MA degree in History and English, alongside an MPhil and PhD from Punjabi University, Patiala. A distinguished scholar in Sikh history and geopolitics, he combines historical wisdom with global affairs through rigorous scholarship. He possesses thirty years of extensive teaching experience in government colleges, instructing both graduate and postgraduate students. Additionally, he has served as a member of the Board of Studies in the Faculty of Social Sciences at Punjabi University and as an NSS officer while maintaining a practical working knowledge of computer systems for his professional duties. Chitra Gopalakrishnan, based in New Delhi, is a versatile writer whose passion for language bridges non-fiction and fiction, narratology and psychoanalysis, marginalia and manuscript, as well as tree-ism and capitalism.
