Eliza tells us how a Jokester views life and death, in this poignant poem, exclusively for Different Truths.

We frolic with death,

every day we joke about life.

And it slips by.

Every day we get closer

to no longer being human,

instead to being

only a body

and a memory

in the minds of the Jokesters.
