Utpal Datta is a National Film award-winning film critic, published author, translator, film maker and an award-winning radio broadcaster. He extensively writes about film-literature and arts. His two non-feature films had been screened in several film festivals including Indian Panorama of IFFI and brought him state film award for Best Direction. He has also recorded and produced several radio documentaries and received several Fellowship and awards.
