Under the bold film title, in smaller letters, it displayed – ‘From groundbreaking human cloning research to a scandalous downfall, this documentary tells the captivating story of Korea’s most notorious scientist.’ With curiosity piqued, I embarked on a journey into the tumultuous tale of Hwang Woo-suk, South Korea’s once-revered but ultimately disgraced cloning pioneer.
