She was a German Catholic nun In an Indian Girls Convent school Teaching English Literature and Language In all the three sections of Class Eighth. Each Section had twenty-six students She knew all the seventy-eight by names and faces. She would come to the class And shuffle all of us. Made the backbenchers sit on the front seats… And the front-seaters were moved to the last row. She would pick one student in each class, And pave a path into her personal orbit With her powerful intuition guide.
