Amidst doom and despondency, it’s a time for healing and prayers that this poem, by Parvathy, celebrates exclusively for Different Truths.

Many who saw me,
They asked me,
How can you keep yourself so happy?
I answered:
I never feign happiness.
And I can't because;
Everyone doesn't need my smile,
When they forget to give theirs' too-
And I smile it out, when all I should.
Because none else would smile
for me I know,
Though I have my mother
who would cry along.
Let me tell you:
Smile it out,
If you see tomorrow's sunrise.
Smile it out,
If the morning breakfast didn't come well.
Smile it out,
If you broke a glass tumbler.
Smile it out,
If your boss treats you bad.
Smile it out,
If you had a good
And again tough time with your husband.
Smile it out,
If your kids score less marks in exams.
And make them too smile-
Giving them newer ways of study,
So that they too give smiles back
After each exam and each exam of life.
It's easy to smile, but it's difficult to
Feign a smile.
So smile it out,
If you had a loss too.
Let's dig in happiness
In penny and pound
In ups and downs
In wealth and distress
For, a smile can help you out
Not to feigh anymore in life.
