The demise of a mother causes immense grief. Bushra pens a poignant prayer-poem, about her grief and hope, exclusively for Different Truths.

Go in peace, O gentle soul
As you are laid to rest close to your husband dear
Alone you are not, so fear ye not
Your loving son also lies so near.

May the angels guard you on your journey ahead
May the Almighty ease your way
May your grave be filled with the brightest light
This will be our prayer for you every day.

Fare thee well, O Mother dear
Inshallah, we will meet in Heaven some day!

It’s beautiful and very touching. Your mom was a pillar of strength and admired by everyone who came in contact with her. May Allah (swt) grant her the highest place in JannatuL Firdaus
