The domain name of our eMagazine, was finalised Sept 27, 2015. In less than two months, our first story was posted, Nov 13, 2015.
Initially there were two of us, our Managing Editor, Anumita Roy and me. A bunch of friends joined us in this amazing journey. Different Truths grew. In our 6th year, we have over 5800 posts. We have a large database of our Social Journalists (SJs) and poets.
A couple of years back, a terrible DRDO attack crippled us for about six months – the time taken to revive and restore DT albeit at high cost and humongous efforts. However, we lost the visuals of the posts for about four years.
We have decided to restore and update the visuals and give a new lease of life to our initial posts.
We feel as if we are restoring a monument. The past is as important to us as our present. And all Social Journalists (SJs) – that’s what we call our authors and poets – are invaluable.
We have decided to repost select articles – undated – to remind ourselves of the early days.
Join us in this journey, as we look back with glee and gratitude.
