Sunkara Ramesh is a junior lecturer by profession. He has carved a niche for himself as a blossoming poet. He has published his own anthologies of poetry. Telangana Sahitya Akademi has honoured him suitably by including his poems in its compilation of the poems of 150 Telugu poets "Parampara". Recently his poems on Covid-19 have attracted the admiration of the public.
