Nature’s Playground: The Beauty and Terror of the Sea

Sitting upon a rock
facing the big blue sea
I hear whispers
from the sea as the water comes
swooshing around me
with splish and a splash
they wet me from top to toe,
a howl and growl
tells me the sea is angry today
ready to attack anyone coming his way.

Hurry out of his way
he coming rolling
carrying with him
everything that comes his way
and on to the sand
he tosses them far and wide.

A howl
a growl,
a splish,
a splash,
a swoosh,
and a little ripple,
I am out and safe back home.
