I had to Opt for Salvation

If you are having an urge to get attached,
You must stop –
The moment I know, I get detached,
I try to keep myself beyond any emotion,
To freely float along in life’s designed motion,

Life already has taught me that lesson,
To flow quietly, without any objections,
Loved ones, never stay long enough,
Somehow they liberate, breaking the barriers of all the emotions,
Leaving behind, absolutely with no options,

Doesn’t matter how madly in love you were with them,
Maybe every time, they also told you the same,
The so-called unbreakable relations vanish
Like a water bubble, just now and then,
Tell me, how someone would dare to fall in love again?

I looked for them,
In every possible lane,
Now and then,
From this to that end,
But never found, went till the horizon,
I don’t have much left for compensation,

When a heart like something broke,
I didn’t let you hear, it was a stroke,
I’m alive but living I have stopped,
Still I’m stubborn to leave everything on luck,
Turning all those emotions to a beautiful rock,
Now a days, I work on a sculpture,
‘Saudade’, a unique breathtaking structure,

When eyelids soaked,
Deep inside something poked,
And myself, I couldn’t stop,
I turned my face,
To keep a pace,
From the race,
In case,
You have misunderstood
Me, kind of rude,
I was trying to handle my mood,
To look bit okay and a bit good,

When I turned on my path,
And walked away,
It was not easy that way,
I just dragged alone, all the way,
My steps were not cooperating,
Breaths were deep and suffocating,
Thoughts were heavy and annoying,

When I drifted away from the axis,
Without my wish,
I asked Him,
And He said, it was destined,
I was literally hanging,
Just holding the broken lame post of time,
Far away was the light house’s shine,
I simply left swimming, leaving everything on the Divine

All around was the darkness,
No rays of sunshine,
On emotion’s boat I sailed,
In eye’s heavy rain, all got ruined,
Happily I had to opt for salvation,
Now, nothing is mine.
