Connecting with Nature and Nostalgia

my cat
relishing a spider web
feline cotton candy

***

diving off the dock
the shock of cold
takes my breath away

***

bicycles
down the middle of the street
childhood formation

***

raindrops
on my tin roof
murmuration

***

weeping willow
catches full moon
in her evening net

***

waking to the weekend
the days are delineated again
back to school

***

the elusive marble
under my couch
just out of reach...

***

slowing down
to get it right
r-h-y-t-h-m

***

at 62
my first art opening
my heart a firework

***

at the shelter
she rescues me
we heal together
