A poignant love poem from Shaili, exclusively for Different Truths.
I heard from you today
Just like that
It has been long….
You have travelled far and wide
And I have stayed
It feels good to hear your voice
But then
Life was going on fine even without you
Just like that
How have you been?
Good?
I saw your pictures, such pretty ones too!
The locales and the bright scenery
They seem to suit you well
Now that you are back
I am happy too!
I guess we will bump into each other
Someday in a bookshop
Old editions
With new paperbacks
Then go for coffee
Or maybe the Tibetan market, Janpath
Who knows where?
Some laughs and kisses too
Just like that…
