Francesco’s poem is about experiencing the powerful, unbreakable bond of eternal love, where darkness fades, and the heart’s rhythm beats only for you, for Different Truths.

I will never tell you
words without love
and it will never be dark
if the sun is alive outside.
I will never give you weight
because my heart
will always be tied to you
like a beating drum.
Even stronger
will be the desire for us
if the roses do not wither
in our garden.

Francesco Favetta has penned more than 4000 poems. Born in Sicily, Italy, he loves poetry and culture. In 2018, he was awarded by the Academy of Sicily. His poems have been widely anthologised, nationally and internationally. He founded a theatre company and a Lion’s Club.
