Are the beautiful faces
That paint the nights,
They are the resounding tick-tocks
Of silent kisses
Only found in dark corners.
Streetlights are the four legs
Of one soul in two bodies.
Streetlights are the weary hips
Of glowing figures.
Streetlights are the mute walks
Of lonely souls of ‘bached-elors’
Kissing walkways with their soles,
As they await their ‘ten virgins’.
Streetlights are the fingerprints
Of stainful men
On the walls of life.
