My Amorous Armour of Affinity, Amma.

As a tribute to Mother’s Day, Parvathy pens a poignant poem, exclusively for Different Truths.

A pretty tough evening,
 which left me so confused
 felt much disturbed, am I
 Unable to find the causes.
 Though the sky was clear;
And the flowers of spring bloomed
 the dark fumes of illness
 filled my guts and I
 unable to move
 Sat in silence.

 None else to she-
 Diagnosed me in ease
 Walked in with a cup
 of ginger black tea
 Along with onion pakoda
 She knows well
 I would rejuvenate
 so soon, but
 I simply fought with her
 To ease my guts.

She, patted me on by back
Told me, get out of your bed
I felt, the pat was a lift
 That lifted me up
 All these years, and
 Her magical hands fed me,
Her magical tongue gave me courage
Her magical touch, healed all would
And lifted me up all way-
My amorous armour of affinity, Amma.
