Love These Sunsets

An enigmatic Nature poem by Monika, celebrates the sunset, exclusively for Different Truths.

Sinking Sun,
day winding down.
Winter day that was
with a Clement chill.
Arriving velvety night
with dusky hues.
Excited chirping crickets,
first buzz of mosquitoes.
Clicking street lights,
striking first star.
Flickering lamp post
fading sidewalk.
Slipping light through the trees
soon turning inky.
The falling twilight
luring the sky.
Finally silence
putting an appearance.
