Love and Longing: Chasing the Light Beyond Heartbreak

When the night reels in silence,
The lovebirds appear perturbed in utmost solitude.
The vertex of the impenetrable haze around
Leads their grieving hearts to whisper to each other
The secrets of spasmodic pain of
the undefined fissures of their aptitude.

Chasing an answer to
How long would they await
A dignified future
That blurs with frustration
And a total erasure.

The sky looks sad and wet with love
And appears lamenting
With the stress of torrential rain,
Where unpleasant sensation
Shrouds all possible excruciating pain.

Above all, a hope always pullulates.
Bypassing the disastrous heartbreak,
To look forward to a winning court
The next morning, with a renewed fate.

And above all,
My compassionately shrinking heart
Starts palpitating, and my palms sweat
While I await the shining dawn
With much excitement
For witnessing a celestial extravaganza
That would cause and ensure
Separated souls for a union.
