Howrah Bridge

Soumen celebrates the grandeur of Howrah Bridge in this poem, an icon and identity of Kolkata – exclusively for Different Truths.

She is a beautiful diva.
Standing tall and holding her high full of grace
She is wearing all the heavenly glitter
Standing over the ramp,
She looks straight into everyone’s eyes
Portrait of delight with so much confidence
She looks charming with exuberant grace
Shining eyes reveal so many myths
She is a wonder of wonders, a tale of fairy
She defines beauty and beauty lies in her crown
She carries strength and purpose in her glorious grown
She walks with discipline in the hall of fame
Everyone`s pride, Howrah Bridge, is her name.
