Dr. Alka (Bhakar) Jhajhria is an academician and has been teaching English for the last twelve years. She began her teaching career at Dr. Radhakrishnan Girls College, Sri Ganganagar. Presently she is Assistant Professor at Government College Lunkaransar. She has done her research work on travel writings of Caryl Phillips and Gary Younge. Her area of research also includes Indian Diaspora.
