The Chosen One: Wading through Intriguing and Bizzare Events

Sneha reviews The Chosen One, by Arvind Narsima, unravelling the intriguing and bizarre events. An exclusive for Different Truths.

Author : Arvind Narsima

My Rating : ☆☆☆☆

I wanted to read this book for long time and what an amazing read this book is.

The cover is intriguing and compels to pick it. The story revolves around ‘The Chosen One’.

The story starts with a series of bizarre events happen around the world, where Godmen belonging to various religions witness a glowing hexagram, a triangle inversely overlapped on another, a symbol of male female union.

The story starts with a series of bizarre events happen around the world, where Godmen belonging to various religions witness a glowing hexagram, a triangle inversely overlapped on another, a symbol of male female union. Shockingly, the Prakrti (female) dominates the Purush (male) in all the Hexagrams depicting a dangerous imbalance in the cosmic harmony of nature. Professor Surya Prakash, who is the chosen one, is approached by the devil, disguised as the dark and ugly face. He tries to trap Surya in one after another trouble. How Surya escaped is another story altogether .

Both Surya Prakash and the Bishop meet at St. Lutheran’s Church at Kodaikanal under bizarre and intriguing conditions wherein something extraordinary happens to the professor. America’s CIA sends two deflected agents from Mossad to get the consignments sent by Vatican to India. There are other incidents happening at the same time. All stories are interwined together. You have to read it to know it.

America’s CIA sends two deflected agents from Mossad to get the consignments sent by Vatican to India. There are other incidents happening at the same time.

How all of these are connected and how the Chosen One will deal it will be interesting to know. Couldn’t wait for next part.

The language is flawless and engaging.

The story is interesting and strong. The narration is fast paced and keep oneself hooked to it.

The events keep happening and keep you on toes all through the novel. There are so much going on that it needs complete concentration to understand and remember all the stories.

An amazing read!
