Rajashree’s poem dwells on trust, a delicate thread of vulnerability and respect, easily broken yet essential for human fraternity and hope, for Different Truths.
Trust is a delicate thread,
Easily snapped,
And requires care and caution,
With honesty and a gentle pat.
Built on ample vulnerability,
Blossoms to spread the fragrance of brotherhood and fraternity,
And is a bond of mutual respect,
That rests on pillars of qualitative dependency.
Like a mirror, trust too is so fragile,
To shatter in an instant,
Leaving shards of pain with eyes,
Those are malignant.
Yet patience, love, and willingness when arbitrate,
Trust, though hard to rebuild,
Yet it comes up for resettlement.
