The Moon

An evocative poem about the moon, by Amita, exclusively for Different Truths.

Like a pendant

Huge and bright,

The moon white

Adorns the sky,

All below behold,

 Its beauty and shower,

Songs of praise,

But to me the Moon says,

‘How lonely are we,

Neither feeling wry,

Nor asking why,

Both of us just sigh.
