The Miracle

An inspiring poem of hope about conquering turmoil, by Neelam, exclusively for Different Truths.

While the boat has been steadfastly anchored
On the angry shore of the river of life,
You fail to look at the boat and its repose,
You rather tend to be disturbed
By the wrath of the waves.

It’s only when you conquer your fears
That you can focus on the boat,
And then, it’s almost like a miracle
As you cross the raging waters,
Put that unsteady first step on the boat,
And climb in.

After that,
It’s a voyage of happiness,
After all, there is no stew anymore.
