The eyes of life

Eyes
that peer
cry
laugh and live.
Silent mirrors
of lives lived
anchors lit
on the real world
open windows
in the time
of sacred living
without
a blow to strike.
Dazzling headlights
of true beauty
sumptuous lights
and infinite jewels
gems in the face
sources of sounds
and inspiration
for songs of the heart
and serenades.
Sharp boulders
and sharp
knives
hurled
at the empty
hours
of cold
passion.
Eyes
of the world
and of life
always dig
wise
and never extinguished
with shouts
and caresses
the memories escaped
in the earthly flight
of humble
love.
I feel the gaze
already friendly
and close
I rejoice and
laugh
at the sweet
knowledge
that
these sincere
eyes
are shining
flames
and faithful
sisters
of the kind
and warm
welcome.
