See You, See Me…

A piquant paradox unveils between the woman and the mirror, along with layered relationships. An exclusive for Different Truths.

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
I see you, but I see you more
when I don’t see you.
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
you see me, but you see me more
when you don’t see me.
I am the sun that is untouchable
to you, exiled to another
distant earth.
I am the moon that fails to wane,
eclipsed by the treason of
time, indefinite.
I am that Proxima Centauri who
has wandered unfathomable
light years away from you.
I am that failure, sans identity,
who scares you, if visible.
You are my reflector who fails
to pardon me any further.
I see you more when I don’t see you.
You see me more when you don’t see me.
