Sangeeta’s evocative poem on DifferentTruths.com captures the rhythmic dance of nature, urging a sustainable balance between development and environmental preservation.
Resplendent nature dances in the merrymaking,
Intertwined with the gracious breeze.
Zephyr here, floats at its free will
Spreading its arms in the mystic spell,
Of the morning mist.
Even as the day proceeds, its gaiety never decreases.
Echoing deep,
“Keep my green soul alive in the gambling cards of human development."
Thus nod in glad agreement all heads on that mound.
Each pebble, each leaf, each tree,
The bamboo grove and the dancing, voluminous foliage.
And on this much-needed splendid note....
Longmang High School greets
All its visitors with exuberant spirit.
Birthing in them a fragrant yearning
For afforestation,
To silence the tangled cacophony of our existence,
And cage the scorching summer’s heat to make it ephemeral,
With the calm brilliance of trees.
