The sky that is in me
is the light lit
in my eyes
like the stars
are islands
far away in time
and within the memories of life
the eternal roots
are the inner freedoms.
My heart is strong
it quickly forgets
every cross suffered
then breathes slowly
on the pains and wounds
that have made it
even more of a warrior
son of courage
and disciple of peace.
