Dr Molly’s evocative Nature poem celebrates morning – exclusively for Different Truths.
there wafts in
a caring breeze
from
somewhere
beyond,
caressing...
the vague
dream
of night
persists
in memory...
lost in
the throng,
the crowd,
how you
were searching
something
you lost?
your pen,
your pair
of specs?
footwear?
your little one
awake
lisping out
sweet nothings
toddling
after you...
nature fresh
after her
drizzle bath...
birds chirping
welcome!
the household
half awake
still
in stupor...
the babe,
the bud
the bird
around
here is
the start
fresh
and new...
