Mirror

Here’s a love poem by Shameena, in Different Truths.
For there is none whom I have met
To see what’s there I’ll never let
When you touched within, I knew,
Smother off my chest will clear the blue.

I’ve learned to grow up rather fast
With so much future and not much past
Of things beyond our reason or control
I was like a hooked up spirit, in a wrong soul!

Life is what you make of it, I learned
I’ve become what life had returned!
Happiness broke through thoughtfulness
Meeting you is definitely god’s tenderness

Like a rare rainbow once the rain is finished
Surprisingly you appear like my mirror image.
We loved without knowing how, or when, or from where.
No matter what, I’ll stand by you anywhere!

Even in miles away in different lands
We’ve got the whole world in our hands
Let’s share our madness and grow old,
Our age in love with years untold
