A surrealistic poem, by Parvathy, that celebrates love, exclusively for Different Truths.
I saw them, a swarm of golden butterflies Flying in joy in our garden, Especially where the wild roses and white hibiscus densely flowered. Their black feathery wings, flamboyantly kissed many buds and Sucked the nectar, in wild ecstasy! And I was thrown back to my younger years When she too kissed me, flamboyantly. Though I turned wild, I was calm. Because I did, truly sense Nothing except hunger’s call Could drive any man, mad and wild. And never the kiss, She placed, on my lips.
