In my Diary

An inward-looking poem, by Dr Ashok, about life and times, exclusively for Different Truths.

The delicate pages of the past
The dominant pages of the present,
Though everything looks too vast
The sheen of life seems gradually lost.
At times, the present looks turbulent
At times, the future too looks indistinct;
Betwixt the shores of the past and present
Illusions and realities grapple my mindset
But realisation bestows me the right spirit
That’s what in my diary, yesterday I did write.
