I Wanna

A soulful love poem by Maya, for Different Truths.

I wanna
kick up the heels!

I wanna
have full moon nights
with You
my love.

I wanna
have
some soul-stirring music
singing lullaby
to us.

I wanna
flower
and ripple
with the virgour of passion.

I wanna
have crackling bonfires.

Solitary walks.

Long drives.

Gypsy discovered within.

I wanna be
swaying to the song,
of my soul-
the
flowing stream kind.

For,
roaming,
in the bewitching woods,
called life,
is,
an essential part,
of my being.
