I Embrace my Flaws

Here’s an inward-looking poem, of acceptance and faith, by Sarala, exclusively for Different Truths.

I embrace my flaws
and feel I am awesome
Feeling positive
while negative emotions
play up hell inside me
But I never give up saying I am
awesome which boosts up my immunity
towards all negativities
As I get up
I stumble and fall and hurt my toes
Yet, first thing I do is
To look in the mirror and say hey,
I am awesome with all my faults
And my day is done!
What a magical way to
Kick off negativities
By saying I am awesome
I am capable
I am pretty
I have God by my side!
Try this
And you will definitely feel
you are awesome!
