Still time to live
the beautiful seasons of life
in the heart's forward steps
in the romances of destiny
and also, in storms.
We are dancing souls
in the path of the days
white beaches bathed
by sudden storms
memories ended in the tides.
We drown in the sea of the night
and in the storms of pain
invisible rocks surfaced
in the silence of our hearts
and in the routes of our life.

Francesco Favetta has penned more than 4000 poems. Born in Sicily, Italy, he loves poetry and culture. In 2018, he was awarded by the Academy of Sicily. His poems have been widely anthologised, nationally and internationally. He founded a theatre company and a Lion’s Club. He believes that poetry is the weapon with which humanity will make its life free.
