Embracing Life, Love, and Earth: The Vibrant Basant Panchami

Monika’s poem evokes Saraswati’s melodies and Basant Panchami, creating a spring symphony, celebrating learning in the Special Feature, exclusively for Different Truths.

Basant arrives like a canvas of yellow,
saffron hues dancing on the wings of the Zephyr.
Saraswati, veena in hand graces the day,
wisdom serenades through the air.

Petals fall like whispered prayers,
Spring whispers secrets to the waiting earth.
Amber blooms herald the awakening,
and nature adorns itself in the festival's mirth.

The Sun climbs higher, a golden chariot,
chasing away winter's lingering chill.
Kites soar, a kaleidoscope in the azure,
threads of joy entwined dreams to fulfil.

'Basant Panchami', a celebration of beginnings,
of learning, music, and nature's rebirth.
In the mélange of seasons, a vibrant scintilla,
a day to embrace life, love, and the earth.
