Edifying Eminence

Here’s an evocative poem by Manthena, in Different Truths.

Flowery fantasy facilitates felicitous festivity
The poetry of symmetry springs rare activity
Blissful  birds sing in scintillating splendour
This world enraptures us with visual  wonder

The lotus in buoyant bloom causes us delight
Entrancing our eyes with the elegance of sight
Life devoted to pure pleasure has real treasure
We can never gauge it for it is  beyond measure

We glow with genuine grandeur in lap of Nature
As we grow honestly humane in striking  stature
Moments measured as marvellous monuments
Fascinate memory as momentous  movements

Ecstasy in enormity is the essence of existence
Elegance enlivens ecstasy in edifying eminence
Scintillating sensations springing from all mind
Sourcing splendid survival of the supreme kind

Let us end all reigning ego to relish  lively living
Lotus-like liveliness radiating in striking striving
Enriches genially gorgeous grandeur in a lustre
Magnanimity grows gently  rendering life better
