An evocative soul-searching poem, by Rajashree, exclusively for Different Truths.
My intelligence turns to a self-propagating flame And consume in toto my inauthentic self I then dazzle like a molten core And an implied self stands erect on a never reaching farthest shore. I wish it, to burn the rubbish, Those are pelted onto me by my denigrators Also, I wish, The flame of my intelligence excretes All those craps from me And burn me to shine. Life is but a natural opportunity Where love can brighten the eyes of heart and soul And makes one to see through the thick wall of words. Instead, it’s a mind-churning dream. In this process of self-filtration I prefer to burn and shine ultimately.
