Ashok Bhowmick

Ashok is a prominent artist, who has showcased his paintings in 20 countries. He is an author, who has penned novels in Hindi. One of his books has been published by Harper Collins. He received the Academy Award from Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata and Governor Award, from the Government of West Bengal, Kolkata. Ashok likes to call his art revivalist, rooted in old Indian tradition, yet contemporary. He graduated from Government College of Art and Craft, Calcutta.
