Prof Ram reflects on the interplay of desire and detachment for DifferentTruths.com, a poetic exploration of the human form.
Contorted bodies
no new myth but surreal
or maybe the realist
looking good but disturbing
unsettling beauty in flesh
abstracted figures
on the beach prone over
each other with furtive
fingers on privates
in beige, hazy, wan
mixed alien colors
make humans unerotic
against waves of sun and shade.
