The Surreal Realism Behind Sun and Shade

Contorted bodies
no new myth but surreal
or maybe the realist
looking good but disturbing
unsettling beauty in flesh

abstracted figures
on the beach prone over
each other with furtive
fingers on privates

in beige, hazy, wan
mixed alien colors
make humans unerotic
against waves of sun and shade.
