An Epic Reflection on Life and Freedom

Spare me the travel
been too long on dusty tracks without
rain respite relief
balancing life like a marble on a spoon.

Birds weary have long left their nests behind
Winter is around the corner
as my hungry soul craves for warmth from
a log that shoulders

This warmth is rich, plum pudding
On a slice called life. I carry life in my purse.
An essence like camphor.
It melted the bones centuries ago
When Tyrannosaurus
Walked this earth.

Spare me the age
The colossal earth is timid with the burden of
blood spree so rampant
We name freedom.
