Sayantani’s poem dwells with an ancient soul, once a tempting nymph, now sleeping serenely, her magnificent dark beauty casting a silent, powerful spell, for Different Truths.
She is a happy seed, a tempting nymph
Her incarnadine anger is plangent and silent
The eternal and dark beauty of her
Plash a magic spell upon the wayfarers
No more whisper of the ancient soul
Arouse her merriment
Her spirit is unfeeling, deprived of every sense
She now sleeps in serenity like a darkling oath.
