The Timeless Pearls Life Bestows Upon Us

O life,
my life,
who have
given me
pearls of the sacred
wisdom
and grains of light
steeped in humble
will.
Welcome the word,
master
of time,
far from a thousand
wounds,
gentle mirror
of streets paved
by silent footsteps
and young lives
still enclosed
in the maternal womb.
Contemplate
your sign
carved in the darkness
of the
cold season
and save
the
hard day
burden of weary
nights
rest your limbs
life
friend of infinite
battles
and landing
of ships departed
from distant shores.
Give no respite
to the rebellious wind
that like a
child
plays and chases
the wandering thought
child of rage
and stupid deceptions
born from minds
dormant
by the dark tyrant
and the sad
souls
of men
already extinguished
by ego
and inner emptiness!
