A reflective poem by Francesco on friendship’s silent strength, exploring loyalty, pain, and the quiet retreat into one’s solitude, exclusively for Different Truths.
It's a silent flight
is never absent
the true friend
you find him on you
but it's never a problem
it's simply a pleasure.
The friend always manages
to live inside the words
on the days of laughter
but also, on the dark days
when the tides
are waves on the shoulders.
Then the small bitter lines
create wounds in relationships
so, the friend remains
locked in his shell
forgetting the truth
and dragging his heart into the night.
