Rise Like a Mountain: A Tribute to Inner Resilience

A defiant ode to resilience—Mohit’s poem urges you to reclaim your power, stand tall, and remember your elemental origins, exclusively for Different Truths.

They told you to be small—
to erode politely,
to apologise for your weather,
to let the clouds decide your silhouette.

But rock remembers its volcanic tongue.
Peel back your skin of topsoil:
beneath lies a spine that refused the glacier,
a throat that still hums with magma.

Height is not arrogance.
It’s the act of remaining
while the wind tries to edit you
down to its size.

Stand.
Let the storms come.
Even their lightning
is just begging to be remembered.
