Ashok’s poem, exclusively for Different Truths, highlights the dual nature of fire, urging us to choose harmony over conflict and embrace different truths, contrasting destructive anger with unifying love.
The fire of anger detaches anything
The fire of love attaches everything.
Fire holds an unfathomable power,
It can reduce anything to ash, forever.
Positive impact of fire remains cool
Its negative impact makes us unstable,
Inwardly-outwardly, we have such a fire,
It’s better to keep far away from the mire.
We need to fortify the bond of harmony
We need to shun the bond of hegemony;
Dousing the flames of hatred and enmity,
Let us move ahead with the torch of unity.
