I PROMISE TO DO

Many a verse sneaks out of my pen to jot,
Every time, something eludes my thought,
Time and again, vicious issues rock my mind,
Alas, emotions and the mercy instinct rewind.
Moved beyond words, I prefer transformation
Or else, what use is my verse in a grim situation?
Right from the beginning till I accomplish
Poems, I jot for an impactful change to cherish.
Hopeful and resourceful, I keep on trying this,
Oh God! Shower mercy on me and bless….
So, I shall be fairly useful to the world.
I am a tolerant person in true spirit and word,
So, I promise to do my very best for the world.
