Debarati’s haiku poems explore themes of unfinished conversations, letting go, and returning home, framed by natural imagery and delicate objects, exclusively for Different Truths.
bare branches
the conversations
we left midway
the art of letting go —
crumpled origami flower
cotton wick —
the burnt end
of our disagreements
country roads
all my way back home
a marshmallow moon
