Stormy Seas & Whispering Love: An Exploration of Connection

Soumik’s love poem depicts a stormy sea and unwavering love, symbolising a strong connection between two souls, in the Special Feature, exclusively for Different Truths.

The turbulent waves lash.
Lash upon the stony beach
And when the waves retreat,
They leave the white froth
Bubbling over the golden sands
And in the storm-tossed night
When the ocean gets crazy
The waves still find their way
In haste or halt pass they
To kneel under the lighthouse
That blinks amidst the grey cloud
Like the altar of love
Beneath which two entombed souls
Embrace each other.
